This move will secure the Lions’ 16th season well within a competitive league and ensure an exciting and family-friendly fan experience on game-day.

Head Coach McKinney said, “I am happy the Lions are going to continue our quest to give great entertainment to the people of Columbus for the upcoming 2023 indoor football season. The AIFA has a unique league, and I believe the competition and product on the field will be great for the fans.”
With the move to the AIFA, Columbus will play regional matchups allowing fans easy travel to road games and the ability to “bring Lions football to new cities” (McKinney).
