According to Vibes.okdiario, Halloween is celebrated in many countries, and the United States is no exception. As the spooky season approaches, let’s take a look at the Social Security payments scheduled for November.
Advance Payment for Social Security Beneficiaries
Retirees and some disability beneficiaries may be pleasantly surprised to learn that their monthly payments will be delivered in advance this November. The Social Security Administration has announced that payments will be issued on November 1, 2024.
Scheduled Payments on November 1
In addition to the retirement and SSDI payments on November 1, SSI recipients will also receive their checks and direct deposits on the same day, as per the usual schedule. This makes it easy for SSI recipients to know their payday, as all eligible individuals will collect their monthly payments on November 1.
However, there is an important update for SSI recipients: their December payment will be issued on November 29, allowing them to receive two payments within the same month. While this isn’t an extra payment or bonus, it could be beneficial for those who may need additional funds.
Eligibility and Payment Schedule for Social Security
November 1 will be a key payday for those who began receiving retirement or SSDI benefits before May 1997. Additionally, individuals receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) while also on Social Security will qualify for the November 1 payment.
