According to The Sun , Officials have announced that one winning ticket worth $3 million remains unclaimed. This ticket, purchased for the November 8 draw, matched five numbers—25, 28, 42, 64, and 69—without hitting the Mega Ball. However, because the player added the Megaplier feature, the prize was tripled from $1 million to an incredible $3 million.
The clock is ticking, though—the winner has until May 7, 2025, to claim the prize. The winning ticket was bought at a Cumberland Farms convenience store located at 1978 West Street in Southington, Connecticut. Connecticut Lottery officials are urging players to check any tickets purchased around the November 8 draw date to see if they’ve won this life-changing sum.
If the prize goes unclaimed, the $3 million will be returned to the state and used for various lottery-funded programs. So, if you purchased a Mega Millions ticket recently, make sure to check it carefully.
To play Mega Millions, you choose five numbers from 1 to 70 and a Mega Ball from 1 to 25. For additional winnings, you can opt for the Megaplier, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 PM ET.
